Phyllis Joan Hamblin, 100, of Tavares, FL, passed away on August 20, 2025. She was born on July 5, 1925, in Champaign, IL, to her parents: Charles and Eva (Everence) Morfey. Phyllis was a telephone switchboard operator for Illinois Bell.
She is survived by her daughter: Patricia Ann Estergard of Tavares, FL; granddaughters: Amy Sue England of Tavares, FL and Amanda M. Miller of AL; great grandchildren: Emma A. Pattee of Tavares, FL and John B. Miller of AL. Sister: Mary Ann Morgan and brother-in-law Duane Morgan of Tavares, FL. One niece and five nephews of IL. She was preceded in death by her brother: Robert C. Morfey.
