Perry Hoyt Proctor's Obituary
On Friday, December 23, 2022. Perry H. Proctor of Germantown, MD passed away, at age 65, at
Advent Health, in Tavares, FL.
Perry was born a twin (Terry Proctor - preceded in death) on September 21, 1957. In Frederick, MD to the late Claude Sr. and Marie Proctor. He attended Frederick High School. Perry went on to wear many hats, short order cook, professional tree cutter, CDL truck driver. Retiring from Lafarge Cement Co. in 2014.
Perry had a passion for doing anything he could do with his hands. He loved to work on cars, landscaping and fishing. He had blessed hands and could fix or build anything. He loved sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboy’s fan. He was known for his beautiful smile, kindness and being the life of the party. He loved to visit his grandchildren and play sports.
Perry was preceded in death by his parents Claude Sr. and Marie Proctor. Brothers, Terry, Fred, Donald and Carlton Proctor. Sisters, Louise Banks, Honor Jean Waters, Tracy Proctor and Beverly Livers. Two nephews Kelly Burns (Cindy) and JonAnthony Proctor (Claude Jr. )and Two nieces Monique Proctor (Gregory) and Sheray Proctor (Ronald).
He is survived by his daughters Stefani Harding and Mandi Proctor. Grandchildren Mekhai, Kayla and Kingston [James] Proctor (Mandi) and Amaya Harding (Stefani) Brothers, Claude Jr, Ronald and Gregory Proctor. Sisters, Betty Bumbray, Kim Gray, Cindy and Penny Proctor. Uncle, Joseph Proctor (Geneva). Aunt, Mildred Brown (late Tony Brown).
And a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Special mention: Niece - Ami McLeroy
A Memorial Service will be held on January 21st, 2023 at 2:00PM at Shookstown Social Hall, 7535 Old Receiver Road, Frederick, MD 21702.
