Peggy Jean Bracken's Obituary
Peggy Jean Bracken, age 78, of Grand Island, FL passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015. She was born January 9, 1936 in Batesville, Arkansas and moved to Florida in 2011 from Alma, AR. She was a retired nurse. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church, Mountainburg, AR. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert James Bracken of Grand Island, FL; sons, Larry Eugene Martin of AR, Michael Wayne Martin of CA, Paul Allen Torres of CA, Kevin Charles Bracken of Auburndale, FL; daughters, Diana Lynn Martin of Lake Wales, FL and April Shannon Bracken of Longwood, FL; brothers, Yvonne Melton, Tommy Melton, and Ray Melton all of AR; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2:00PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444. Online condolences may be left on the Tribute Wall.
