Paul M. Arena's Obituary
Paul M. Arena of Tavares, Florida passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the age of 70 years. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts to the late, Paul Joseph and Antonietta Arena. Paul was a retired hair stylist and taught cosmetology before he retired. He moved to Oviedo, Florida from Manchester, New Hampshire in 2009 and then relocated to Tavares in September 2016. Paul was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Oviedo. He loved doing crossword puzzles and was an avid reader, spending much of his time gaining knowledge through books. He was an excellent cook and loved to gather with family and friends and serve his best dishes. Paul was also an outdoorsman. He enjoyed biking, running, camping and hunting. Paul was preceded in death by his daughter, Antonietta Arena on January 14, 2000 and by his brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Jane Arena. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 34 years, Maria. They were married May 2, 1983. He is also remembered by his son, Paul Joseph Arena of Brockton, MA; son and daughter-in-law, Gaetano and Brenda Arena of Haverhill, MA; son and daughter-in-law, Carlos and Sandra Villarreal of Norwood, MA; son and daughter-on-law, Jose and Rene-Marie Villarreal of Tavares; and son, Herminio Carrasquillo of Tavares; brother and sister-in-law, James and Pauline Arena of Norton, MA; brother, Peter Arena of Abington, MA; sister and brother-in-law, Marcy and Charlie Accolla of Norwood; sister, Ann Marie Rosenberg of Mansfield, MA; and six grandchildren, Derek, Michelle, Eurissa, Joseph, Elise and Jolina.
A funeral Mass will be held at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Oviedo Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
