Patricia G. Levin's Obituary
Patricia Ruth Goff Levin burst onto this world like a firecracker and left it with the same spark on July 9th, 2025 on her own terms, after giving cancer one heck of a fight for nearly three years. And just like that, she traded in her earthly battle gear for a front-row seat in heaven, fully healed and probably already reorganizing the books up there.
Patti was born March 20, 1955 in Gainesville, FL to Robert “Sidney” and Effie Goff. She was preceded in death by her father and two nephews. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two daughters, Jennifer Ellison (Jeff), Melissa Kuznik (Mike), three grandsons, Erik (Abi), Josh (Samantha), and Jackson, her great granddaughter, Palmer Grace, her mother, her four brothers, Bobby Goff (Mike) of Tallahassee, Jay Goff (Debbie) of Zellwood, Gary Goff (Iva) of Trenton, Johnny of Crystal River, her sister, Sandy Edmondson (Lee) of Dunnellon and 8 nieces and nephews.
She grew up in High Springs, FL, was a 1973 graduate of Santa Fe High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Leo University. She has lived in the Mt. Dora area for the last 30 years.
Patti was a force. Not the kind you whisper about — the kind that enters the room and makes everyone sit up straighter. She was the proud mother of two daughters who are still wondering how one woman managed to juggle raising them, running a business, and somehow still knowing exactly what was going on in their lives at all times.
She loved her family fiercely — four brothers, one sister, and her mother — whom she cared for so completely that the lines between “mom” and “daughter” often blurred (and she was okay with that... mostly). Her loyalty ran deep, and her “drop-everything-and-help” gene was unmatched. If you needed her, she was there — with food, with advice, or with a look that said, “Get it together.”
Patti built her successful accounting business from the ground up, proving that you can crunch numbers with precision and sass. She didn’t just do taxes — she ran an empire, ruled by spreadsheets, prayer, and sweet tea.
A justice warrior in bedazzled flip flops, she never backed down from standing up for what was right. It’s no wonder her daughters’ friends dubbed her Firecracker Patti. She wore that title with pride (and probably a frosted lipstick).
She loved Jesus with her whole heart, and while we're going to miss her wit, wisdom, and hugs, we know she’s exactly where she always wanted to be — in Heaven, completely healed, probably still micromanaging things a little, and cheering us all on.
Patti leaves behind a legacy of love, grit, laughter, and faith. And if she were writing this, she’d probably say: “Don’t cry too long. Laugh, love your people, and for heaven’s sake, double-check your math.”
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Pegasus Manor in Eustis.
