Condolences to Pats Family I knew Pat at Hollywood Studios as i worked 3rd shift Custodial.Had pleasant conversations just before park opened .Such a sweet Lady but of course
Businessminded Leader .May she RIP.Amen.
Pat was my leader at Hollywood studios and I loved working with her. She gave me such great feedback and was always willing to talk with me, even to make sure I was having a good day. She will be missed dearly.
Pat was an amazing leader and mentor. I was one of her custodial trainers at DAK. Pat had a way of of talking me into trying new things I never knew I wanted to do..before I knew it she had me facilitating custodial core class and Appling for proficient.custodial COT . She had mock interviews with me. Told me what what would be expected of me and basically pushed me right into the statused role of COT. I owe where I am today to her.She was sweet and genuinely cared about all of her team. I will miss her. She was a good friend
I was just thinking about Pat the other day. We worked together in the training office at Disney's Animal Kingdom. One day Pat was out sick and one of her trainers came into the room looking for her. We explained that Pat was taking the day off but he could leave a message and he became visibly distraught. We reassured him that she was fine, nothing to worry about and he said "I don't know what we would do without Pat. She's like...she's like a sweet cookie." and from that day on we all thought of Pat as our Sweet Cookie. What a nice lady.
I remember her kindness and sense of humor. I was deeply saddened by the news. She will always be one of my favorite leaders. My heart is broken. She will be dearly missed. RIP beautiful soul
Pat and I were brand new Coordinators of Training together back in 1999 at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and our paths were intertwined from that point forward.
Of her many virtues, I treasured her integrity most. It was easy to know exactly what she would think, what she would say, and what she would do, because her internal moral and ethical compass was always pointed in the right direction.
The was the epitome of "Old School" when it came to leadership. Her role was a vocation and mission, not a job. Even in small tasks, her eyes were always on the big picture, and anticipating unseen consequences that might be missed by we lesser mortals.
She touched many people, and many great people rose to leadership themselves in her wake.
Saying she will be missed is like suggesting that water is wet, but she will be missed in the same way that the ocean is damp. Very much so.
