Patricia A. "Pat" Benner's Obituary
Patricia A. “Pat” Benner of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the age of 80 years. She was born in Massachusetts. Patricia worked at Texas Instruments in Attleboro, Massachusetts for several years. She relocated to Ocala, Florida in 1988 from there. Working in Walmart’s fabric department, she met her future husband, Norman. In 2000, Pat moved to Leesburg. She and Norman shared 16 wonderful years of marriage together. Pat loved to sew and especially enjoyed quilting. She decorated their house with her beautiful quilts. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by Norman; her son, Michael Tyrell of Attleboro; her daughter, Lorna Hackenberg and her husband, Mark of Albion, New York; her sister, Marilyn Huntress and her husband, Allen of North Carolina; 3 grandchildren, Sara (Wesley) Salen of North Carolina, Samuel Hackenberg of Albion and Angie Tyrell of Massachusetts; and 5 great grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her first husband, James W. Tyrell, Jr. and her eldest son, Jeffrey James Tyrell. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
