Pamela Jo Klim-Bjurmark's Obituary
Pamela Jo Klim-Bjurmark, 58, of Grand Island, passed away at home on June 13, 2026, after a long illness.
Pamela was born on February 23, 1968, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Joseph and Twyliah Klim.
She was a 1990 graduate of Flagler College, where she double majored in English and Communications and also earned double minors in Journalism and Art (Graphic Design). During her college years, Pamela fell in love with Florida and, after graduating, made it her lifelong home.
Pamela built a successful career in accounting, working with Groundwater Protection, Roger Kennedy Construction, Wharton-Smith, and Pringle Homebuilding Group before joining the City of Mount Dora. After several years of dedicated service, she accepted a position as a Fiscal Analyst with the Mount Dora Police Department. She was deeply proud of her work and accomplishments and cherished the supportive and respectful environment of the department. Pamela was known as a devoted and loyal employee.
Her strong determination extended beyond her career into her personal life. Pamela was committed to her health and fitness, often waking at 4:00 a.m. to work out on the treadmill. She also loved spending time at the beach, where she enjoyed the sunshine, waves, and sand.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Klim, who passed away in 2019.
She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Keith; her mother, Twyliah Klim; her sister, Nicole Mann, and brother-in-law, Daniel; her niece and goddaughter, Brooke Ashley Mann; her brother-in-law Eric; and her three cherished rescue pets, Princess Kai, Jax, and Maui.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 8506 Lakes of Mt Dora Blvd. Please join the family as they honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate a life that touched so many.
