Palmer A. Overbye's Obituary
Palmer A. Overbye, age 87, of Tavares passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017. He was born July 21, 1930 in Bottineau, ND and moved to Lake County in 1995 from OH. He was a retired plumber and pipefitter. In his spare time, he loved wood working and fixing things. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tavares. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ardell R. Overbye of Tavares, FL; daughter, Pam Rosplock of Chandler, AZ; brothers, Al Overbye of Minneapolis, MN, George Overbye of Minneapolis, MN, Art Overbye of New Berlin, WI, Harold Overbye of Lakeville, MN; sister, Karen Johnson of Minneapolis, MN; granddaughters, Lisa DiMaggio of Ann Arbor, MI, Melissa Brown of Mountlake Terrace, WA; and grandson, Miles Brevick. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00PM at the First United Methodist Church of Tavares.
