Orem A. Campbell's Obituary
Orem A. Campbell, age 87, passed away on September 18, 2017. After a full service with military honors, he was laid to rest at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis, FL. Orem was born on April 9, 1930, at the Campbell Homestead in Dunraven, KY to Woolery L. Campbell and Martha H. Campbell. Orem is predeceased by his six brothers Boone, Doil, Roy, Berford, James, and Ed, as well as his grandson Jason Murray and son-in-law Pasquale DiMaggio.
Orem leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years, Irene Campbell. When Irene joins Orem in heaven she will be laid to rest beside him. Orem is also survived by four children and their spouses- Neil Campbell (Cheryl), Judy Kelly (Michael), Cindy DiMaggio, and Randy Campbell (Virginia); seven grandchildren, John Murray, Giovanni DiMaggio, Karen Coad, Michael DiMaggio, Brenda Campbell, Kaitlyn Sneath, and Kristen Long; and seven great-grandchildren, Sofia Murray, John Murray, Austin Coad, Luca DiMaggio, Ethan Long, Drew Coad, and Enzo DiMaggio.
Orem will forever be remembered as “a farm boy born in Kentucky, raised in Indiana, having served in the Navy for 20+ years.” Orem dedicated his life to the US Navy and retired as an E9 Master Chief. As a loving husband, father, and grandfather he will be forever loved and missed.
