Olive B. Wheeler's Obituary
Olive (Ollie) B. Wheeler, age 92, of Tavares, FL passed away October 28, 2015, at Lexington Park an assisted living facility in Lady Lake, FL. She was born May 2, 1923 in Tecumseh, Michigan the daughter of Leon and Esther (Peotter) Gurtzweiler. She married Charles O. Wheeler January 17, 1947, he survives. She was a 1941 graduate of Tecumseh High School. She graduated from Maumee Nursing School in Toledo, OH and worked her entire career as a nurse at Herrick Memorial Hospital in Tecumseh, MI. Ollie was an avid golfer, bowler and bingo player. Ollie is survived by her children Sue (Dennie) Grehl of Tavares, FL, Douglas (Nancy) Wheeler of Jackson, MI and Alyce (Bernie) Stump of Saline, MI. Two grandchildren Elaine (Tree) Sturman of Traverse City, MI and Stephen Stump of Saline, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Irving Gurtzweiler and sister, Wilma Logan. Cremation has already taken place. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
