Although I have only known Channing for less than a year, it didn't take long to see what a charming man he was. He always had a smile and a hug to share with everyone. His love for Jesus was visible to all, as was his love for Sandy. It was a privilege to get to know him and will miss his presence here, but thankful we will meet again in the air when our Lord and Savior comes to take us to heaven to live with him forever!
Channing was such a caring, wonderful man and Father figure in my life. A man who would take on 5 teenagers when he married my Mom HAS to be loving and maybe a bit crazy...😉
He loved my Mother with all his heart, which he had shown her everyday in his life, in everything he did which was apparent to all who knew them. He DID have the best hugs! He squeezed hard and didn't want to let go. I wish I knew my hug last summer would be my last. He loved my children with his whole heart. I wish they could have seen him more.
My son and I lived with my Mom and Channing for a few years when Christopher was a baby and toddler. We created such a special bond that I am so happy we had the chance to do. What a wonderful Father and Grandpa. He loved us unconditionally.
He will be terribly missed... Until we see eachother again in heaven... I will be waiting for my hug!! I love you and you will forever be missed.
