Nancy Ann Cords' Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Ann Cords, a snow-birder from Tavares, Florida and Webster, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the age of 70 years. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Nancy moved to Livonia, Michigan and married Robert P. “Bobby” Cords in 1970. In 1989, they moved to Fox Run in Tavares and have spent their summers in Webster at their home on the lake. Nancy was a devoted homemaker, wife, and friend to his four wonderful children. She was a large supporter of the Burger School for Autism in Garden City, MI and put in countless hours and endless energy to help the children of the school. In Tavares, she was a huge supporter of the Judges Advocate Program, donating her time and lots of toys to help the children in need, especially during Christmas time. Nancy loved to help people and didn’t want any credit for doing it. She is remembered by her loving husband, Bobby; children, Lisa Mary (LJ) Carter of Inkster, MI, David Robert (Renee’) Cords of Livonia, Kelly Ann (Barry) Burke of Livonia and Colleen Ann (Art) Thiessen of Plymouth, MI; as well as 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your local school for Autism. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Tavares, FL.
