Myrtle Virginia Mickler's Obituary
Myrtle Virginia McKenzie-Mickler passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 90 in Zellwood, FL. Born on August 22, 1934, Myrtle lived a life marked by deep affection for her family and a successful career. She was the beloved matriarch whose generosity and love knit her family closely together.
Myrtle cherished her years traveling with her late husbands, Earl McKenzie and Walter Mickler. She had a passion for good food, beautiful clothes, and enjoyed hobbies like cooking, fishing, boating, and gardening. Her career was equally noteworthy. She rose to the position of the President of McKenzie, Inc., a testament to her skill and dedication. She was a proud alumna of Brooksville High School. Her faith played a significant role in her life as a Baptist.
Myrtle was predeceased by her husbands, Earl McKenzie and Walter Mickler; her daughter, Diane V. McKenzie; and granddaughter, Jennifer M. Peaden. She is survived by her children, Patsy McKenzie and Anita McKenzie; grandson, Matthew R. Watkins and his wife, Carolyn F. Watkins; brother, Bobby Norman; and sister, Rena Davis.
In keeping with her wishes, no service is planned at this time. Myrtle will be remembered for her loving nature, her beautiful smile, and her unwavering commitment to her family.
