Mr. Gale L. Graves' Obituary
Mr. Gale L. Graves, of Tavares, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011 at the age of 75 years. He was born in Minneapolis, MN. Living in Des Moines, IA for many years he was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Waveland Park Lodge # 654, Des Moines and the Shriners International, Za-Ga-Zig Shriners, Altoona, IA. He and his wife, Patricia relocated to Georgia in 1980 and then to Altamonte Springs, FL in 1988, where he owned and operated Central Asphalt. In 2000 they moved to Lake County, where he was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Elks Club. Gale is remembered by his wife of 40 years, Patricia; his sons, Gordon G. (Jill) Graves of Orlando; Greg C. (Laurie) Graves of Norwalk, IA and Steve (Karma) Brubaker of Frisco, TX; daughter, Cynthia K. Smith of Winter Park; brother, Robert (Gloria) Graves of New Mexico; as well as 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Tavares.
