Millard C. Ivey's Obituary
Millard Ivey, age 82, of Leesburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. He was born in Red Level, AL (Covington County). Millard was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after serving during WWII. He was a home builder in Florida for 45 years. He was a Deacon for many years at the Pinemount Baptist Church in Live Oak, FL. Millard is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Ivey; children, Linda Borst of Melbourne, Donna Boatright of Live Oak, FL; grandchildren, David Borst II of Melbourne, Kenneth Borst of Miami, Jason Borst of Tampa, Adam Boatright of Live Oak, FL, Tristan Boatright of Live Oak, Lauren Boatright of Gainesville, Hannah Palmer of Clinton, SC, Lexsi-Caye Cummings of Leesburg, Zachary Cummings, of Leesburg; great granddaughter, Adrienne Boatright of Live Oak; brother James P. Ivey of Leesburg; sisters, Louise Moses of Atlanta, GA and Elizabeth Baxter of Tuscaloosa, AL. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Cummings. A Funeral Service will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2009 with Pastor Bill Peters officiating. Friends may call on family one hour prior to the service for visitation.
