Birth date: Jun 19, 1974 Death date: Oct 16, 2024
Michelle Lynn Tatar (Cheek), also known as Glam Gram, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, at home in the arms of her hero and husband, Jason Tatar. Originally from Rantoul, Illinois, Michelle and her family moved to Florida in Read Obituary
My heartfelt condolences go out to Mrs. Tatar’s family. Mrs. Tatar was an exceptional individual and an outstanding teacher at RTHS. I am especially grateful for the time spent working alongside her and her family at the Fear Factory, along with my fellow students who volunteered at the haunted house. She devoted her time and effort to ensure we all had a memorable experience, even doing our makeup herself to make the event special. Her kindness and dedication left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Rest in peace, Mrs. Tatar—you will be deeply missed.
My memories of Michelle go back to her days of playing softball at Rantoul Township HS. She always played with intensity! Rest in peace and my thoughts are with the family. Jan Carter Niccum, Savoy, IL
My best friend, Michelle.
The day I met you, I had so much fear about trying to impress you, simply because I knew you meant so much to Ethan. You and Jason have always been the family he chose.
You didn't question my quite, you just accepted it.
We built a friendship on moments, moments that I now treasure.
You helped Ethan plan the most amazing proposal. You carried my engagement ring around your neck on a necklace and now just thinking of that makes me hold my ring so much tighter.
You helped me countless times hold my head upright.
The jokes, the laughter, the pure ridiculous stories. I miss them so much already.
Going to St. Louis for haunted houses, running over a deer that mysteriously carried a rosery. Hotel rooms that had bathrooms with no door handle.
Dinner dates when our husbands moved to settle in before our houses sold.
Beautiful cards that always reminded me I was truly loved like a sister by you.
I look around my home now and I see you in my decor, I see you standing in my home with your bright beautiful smile.
Girl, I miss you!
I will never forget you, you are the family I chose.
Love, your secret ninja friend.
My deepest sympathy to the entire family. Words are inadequate to express how I feel but I know that I will miss Michelle. God bless, Mrs Clark .
She was the best teacher I had in high school from 1999 to 2002 I going to miss you
My heart hurts for you and your family. We spent many hours together talking while you did my makeup before the haunts. It was a very special time in my life with you and your family. I love you all.
O Michelle! How my heart breaks. My memories of you are of you and Jason making the haunted house in Rantoul. Still, to this day, hands down, the BEST! I think I came every weekend to see what changes you guys made and just to see your faces! Then, when you closed it down, it was a such a wonderful surprise to see you guys are the Harvest Moon all set up. I was so sad when you guys moved away, but was so happy you got to fill one of your dreams of working at Disney. You will be sadly missed beautiful lady! You had a light about you that lit up every room you were in.
I remember Michelle being always present for her kids, community, and Church family. Sending my condolences during this heavy time. 💐🪽
