Michael "Mike" Wilson Jackson's Obituary
Michael “Mike” Wilson Jackson, 67, of Simpsonville, SC, passed away on November 14, 2025. Born on July 30, 1958, in Leesburg, FL, Mike lived a life filled with service, heart, and quiet strength. He served his country in the United States Navy and later dedicated many years as a firefighter and EMT—roles that reflected his courage, compassion, and willingness to help anyone in need.
Mike found his greatest joys in the simplest moments: a fishing pole in his hand, a football game on the screen, and the comfort of being surrounded by the people he loved. His presence was steady, dependable, and deeply felt by those who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Trisha Jackson and Greg (April) Jackson, who will forever carry his love and lessons in their hearts; his grandchildren: Alyssa and Camden Williams and his sister, Denita Jackson; his uncle, Jim (Glenda) Arnold; and his nieces and nephews: Joshua Jackson, Bekki, Lesley, Marci, Jan, and Alisa. He also leaves behind his significant other, Rhonda Martin, who shared life, love, and companionship with him.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bonnie Lou Jackson, and his brother, Harry Jackson. Though he has left this world, the impact of his sarcasm, humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends will live on in the many lives he touched.
