I met Mike decades ago, becoming a close friend as we discussed politics, the markets and so much more. When he relocated to Florida (I stayed in Metuchen, NJ and later Princeton) - Mike and I joked and debated on the phone three times a week -- every week, every month, for 15 years. Oh the great jokes, sarcasm, his terrific boisterous laugh. His departure has left a great vacuum in my life. He will be missed terribly. But I heard him say, late last night ---- it must have been as he was facing Saint Peter at the Gates ------ "Are you a Democrat or a Republican????"

I remember celebrating Christmas in New Jersey with Uncle Mike and Pop Pop, who is his brother and my grandpa, when I was a young boy. I remember playing golf in Florida with Uncle Mike when I was a young man. These are the memories I will have forever of my Uncle Mike. You will be missed. Love Brian.

I had the pleasure, and the honor, to know and be good friends with Mike for a number of years when he lived in Metuchen, New Jersey. We had similar political beliefs, and he was instrumental in helping me get elected to local public office. He cared very much about Metuchen, and was instrumental in helping it remain a good place to live. R.I.P. Mike.
