Michael Anne Terry Allison's Obituary
Michael Anne “Mike” Terry Allison passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025. Born in New York City on March 27, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Frank “Pop” Terry and Anne “Nina” Cunningham Terry.
Mike spent much of her career in retail management, where her warmth, humor, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Beyond her professional life, she was a true adventurer with an enduring love for the great outdoors. Whether camping in National and State Parks or tracing family roots through her passion for genealogy, Mike approached life with curiosity and enthusiasm.
On August 27, 1967, she married the love of her life, Thorne Jackson Allison. Together they shared over 50 years of marriage filled with laughter, travels, and deep devotion until his passing in 2018.
Mike is survived by her three sons: Chadwick Allison and wife Tammy of Naugatuck, CT; Christopher Allison (Kelli) of Mount Dora, FL; and Jason Allison of Seffner, FL. She is also survived by her sister, Donalda Terry Hull; her brother, Frank “Don” Terry Jr.; and five cherished grandchildren—Jeremy, Anna Marie, Hunter, Trystan, and Logan—who brought her great joy.
A memorial service to celebrate Mike’s life will be held at a later date.
Her adventurous spirit, love for family, and kind heart will be remembered and treasured always.
