I am so very sorry to see this. I have tried to search for Chief Crawford off and on over the past 15 years or so only to learn of her recent passing. She was one of my Company Commanders (drill instructors) in Navy Basic Training in 1987. She was tough, but she was fair, and I always remembered, respected and appreciated her. I always wanted the opportunity to tell her "thank you." Fair Winds & Following Seas, Chief. We have the watch.
My Wife Linda and I didn’t know Mindy very long but she always stopped to say hello and share a brief story . It was easy to see Mindy was kind and genuine. We will miss Her dearly. Dave and Linda Hassler
It’s NEVER easy; even with knowing my time is NOT limitless. I didn’t know Mindy other than just in passing; Dennis as well . . . Nonetheless, she was a spirited woman with a hi or hey when passing!!!!

All though we didn't talk to much the last few years, I will always remember her kindness, and all the fun years we had together! Mindy loved to have fun, loved her furry animals and husband. Rest in peace my friend. So sad you left this earth so soon! ❤️
Mindy always had a kind word for her neighbors and friends. Animals, hers and others, always made her smile. She will be missed.
