I count myself among the blessed to have known Mel. She was a wonderful person and she has gifted us with many happy memories.
Tears of Joy that you have gone home to be with your Lord. Be free my friend. Will miss your smiles, laughter, and our talks. It was a privilege to know you., You left lasting memories my friend, RSP

I never had a sister, but in our youth I felt like Mel and I came close. We were polar opposites in many ways but we both deeply loved fun and laughter. I was quiet and shy while Mel lived life out loud in the best possible way. I enjoyed being behind the camera while Mel shined in front. I loved capturing her joy and energy. She was a spark of inspiration and a rainbow in this weary world. I love you Mel. My heartfelt condolences to Amy, Kyle and the entire family.
Mary Ellen had the kindest heart and lit up every room she was in. My childhood is filled with so many memories over at her house, going on adventures, and lots of great movie nights. Sending all my love. - Madeline Zecman
Condolences to Mary Ellen's family. When we were kids we were almost like one household (her mother and mine were very close sisters). Thoughts and prayers to Alice, Nancy, Richard; particularly sad at this time of year. -- Anne Mahoney
Dearest King and Lennox families. I've been blessed by knowing Mary Ellen since our kids were very young and in school together. She always had an easy, fun loving way about her. From the cards with the confetti 🎊 inside to her special and very thoughtful things she did. I remember that she watched my kids and made chocolate covered strawberries for me and my husband on a wedding anniversary. Those kinds of things made everyone that knew her love her. But more importantly she touched so many children's lives preparing them for sacraments at church. I'll miss her beautiful smile but I know she is in His arms. Love Mary Best-Zecman
My condolences to the Lenox family. I will always remember when Mary Ellen visited the Mahoney's on Staten Island and the good times back in Burlington.
