Mary Louise Miner's Obituary
Mary Louise Miner, age 92 of Tavares passed away on Tuesday, January 25,
2022. She was born August 15, 1929 in Uniontown, PA, to her parents, William
Perkins and Mary Oros Perkins. Marylou grew up in Uniontown, married, then
moved to Lorain, OH where she raised her family and worked as a manager in
retail. She moved to Central Florida where she became a tax auditor. Later, she
joined the family efforts to bring theater to the Tavares community.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth Benson; and her son, Harold Donald Miner,
Jr. and his wife Noel Whyte Miner. She was preceded in death by her son,
Douglas Alan Miner, and her loving husband, Harold Donald Miner, Sr.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 20th at 2 pm at Tangerine
Community Church in Tangerine, FL and the family will receive friends afterward
at their home in Squirrel Point. Family viewing of interment will take place at the
National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at a time to be decided. Online condolences

Marylou's last few chosen gifts were to the Tavares Theater. In lieu of flowers the
