Mary Alice Maxwell, age 85, of Yalaha passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born February 9, 1933 in Altha, FL and moved to Lake County in 2000 from Boca Raton, FL. She was a member of Saint Andrew’s Chapel, Sanford, FL. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Billy Joel Maxwell of Yalaha, FL; sons, Joel Brill Maxwell of Boca Raton, FL, Jody Eugene Maxwell of Boca Raton, FL; daughter, Lynda Susan Maxwell of Boca Raton, FL; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10:00AM at Taylor Memorial Cemetery, Howey-In-The-Hills, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444.
