Mary Madeline Larsen's Obituary
Mary Madeline Larsen, age 75, of Mt. Dora, FL passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025. She was born January 15, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY to Clarence and Theresa Fitzgerald. She moved to Florida in 2015 from South Amboy, NJ. She was a retired Parish Secretary and Director of Religious Education for the Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mt. Dora, where she was very active with multiple parish activities. She was also a member of SFO. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Larsen, Jr. and his wife, Carrie of Staten Island, NY; daughter, Jennifer Ann Larsen of Vancouver, Canada; sisters, Betty Fitzgerald of Mt. Dora, FL, Evelyn Goldstein of Staten Island, NY, Cecilia Durso and her husband, Frank of Mt. Dora, FL; and grandson, Oliver Larsen of Staten Island, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 9:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mt. Dora. Inurnment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church Parish Outreach. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E.
