Mary Rose Gray's Obituary
Mary Rose Gray left this plane of existence at 7:55PM on March 18, 2018. She fought courageously for eight years. Please send love and light for her transition.
Mary Rose moved to Florida in the early 1970’s from Ohio. A vacation turned into a new location. Working as a Nurse at waterman by day and at Bay Street Theater in the evenings, she enjoyed a full life. She transitioned from Nursing to Massage Therapy, looking for more comfortable health solutions. She took up art and created some beautiful paintings. She began meditation and saw a bigger picture. She became a reiki/master teacher. Later, she became a certified medium, healer and teacher at Cassadaga for more than 25 years. She served as co-pastor of Colby Memorial Temple and was appointed to the Board of Trustees for a period of time.
Mary Rose was known as the Voice of Cassadaga because she sang beautifully at Sunday service in Colby Memorial Temple for many years. She wore so many hats and touched thousands of lives while there. She performed in more than 60 musical leads in theaters and on the professional stage, taught thousands of students in intuition development, created beautiful artwork, co-authored a book and wrote children’s plays in which she also directed and produced.
She will be missed by many, including her loving husband, Chuck Reinertsen; her brothers, Steve, Tom, and Tim Gray; and her sister, Diana Zinkhon; and so many who became a part of her extended family.
Blessings!
