Mary Elaine Lloyd's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Elaine Lloyd, of Tavares, FL, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011 at the age of 94 years. She was born in Glennville, Georgia and moved to the Orlando area around 1940. Mary retired from Ivey’s (Dillard’s) Department Store in the Winter Park Mall after 24 years of service. She enjoyed cooking and playing cards. She is remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Darwin and Lillian Lloyd of Parrish, FL; daughter, Mary Lloyd Clerk of Tavares, FL and grandson, Mitch Lloyd of Myakka City, FL. Friends were invited to gather for viewing on Monday, October 10, 2011 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm with a funeral ceremony starting at 2:00 pm, all in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Tavares, FL, 352-343-4444. Condolences may be left for the family by signing the guestbook below.
