Mary Alice Coker's Obituary
Mary Alice Coker, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the age of 83 years. She was born in Gypsy, West Virginia to Chester Earnest and Edna Ola (Laveck) Gifford. Mary moved to this area in 1959 from West Virginia. Although she had several jobs outside the home, her main focus was that of a homemaker. She was Baptist by faith. Mary loved to do crafts and enjoyed camping and fishing. Mary is remembered by her husband of 47 years, Jerry; son, Dwain Cunningham of Orlando, FL; daughter, Sharon (Ralph) Paolicelli of Shamong, NJ; brother, Allen (Jean) Gifford of Massillon, OH; sister, June (Jack) Earnest of Brown, WV; step-son, Jay Coker of Englewood, FL; step-daughter, Patricia Graszl, also of Englewood; grandchildren, Bob Clark, Joanne Hanna, Kathy Cook and Shawn Clark; 2 step grandchildren as well as 6 great grandchildren. A gathering with viewing was held on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral cermony started at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 in the funeral home chapel.
