Marvin Jack Minton Sr.'s Obituary
Marvin Jack Minton, Sr., 95, of Tavares, Florida passed away February 13, 2021. He was born to the Late Floyd M. and Eileen (Bobbit) Minton, August 16, 1925 in Bloomington, Indiana. He retired from AT&T as a manager from one of their many plant divisions. He served in the United States Army and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eustis, Florida. He is survived by his daughter, Marsha Harris (Charlie) of Tavares, Florida, Sons, Marvin Jack Minton, Jr., (Jean Marie) and John Richard Minton (Dianna) of Newberry, Massachusetts.
A gathering of family and friends for Marvin is scheduled for Friday, February 19th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, Florida. Funeral Services are scheduled at 11:00 AM immediately following Marvin's gathering with Clark Russell from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eustis, Florida officiating. Marvin's place of rest will be with his comrades-in-arms at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell Florida on Monday, February 22nd at 11:30 AM. To view the services online, click the link below:
