Marlene Elizabeth Cook, age 83, of Tavares passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019. She was born November 16, 1935 in Norwood, MA. She was a realtor and was a member of the Realtor’s Association. She was also a member of Our Journ Read Obituary
My team and I have had the pleasure of working with Marlene for many years. She was a smart, knowledgeable, friendly realtor to all her clients. She will be missed by us all. Prayers and sincere condolences to the family.

I’m very saddened to hear the news that we’ve lost Marlene. Doing business with Marlene was always a joy and such a sweet spirit and hard worker, always working together in transparency and going above and beyond for her clients as well as other agents.
Both of us being from MA, it was always extra special to work with her for me. She was my favorite Yankee Realtor! She loved that I always called her “Mahlene” and we had a lot of laughs.
Marlene will be sorely missed in our community and unquestionably leave a huge void in the hearts of her loved ones. I pray peace ministers to her family and the lifetime of memories that she gave them fills the emptiness that we’re sure they’re all feeling.

I met Marlene about 5 years ago when I was working at ERA Grizzard in Mount Dora. I couldn't believe the energy and drive she had for real estate. She was a remarkable women and a giving person to help take care of those who had no one. My prayers to her family and may she rest in peace...

I first met Sis Marlene Cook in March 1980 at Arlington UPC in Arlington VA. I had just moved to Virginia, and had going to church with my sister. Sis Marlene was very sweet and kind, gave me a ride to church, prayed with me at church, and was just a very good friend and role model of what a Christian lady was supposed to be like. I was always remember her this way. Prayers for all her family and friends at this time.
