Marjorie Jane Hight, known to all friends and family as Midge, passed peacefully away on December 19th, 2017. Marjorie was born on Dec. 12, 1931, in Mio, Michigan. She joined the Army in Jan. of 1953, where she met her future husb Read Obituary
We will all miss Mrs. Midge so very much. Our "lunch bunch" group at Osprey Lodge will never be the same without her in charge of organizing it. She was such a sweet lady and I feel blessed to have known her. We will all miss seeing her smiling face everyday. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family and friends during this difficult time.
I met Midge at Osprey Lodge. What a wonderfully engaging woman she was, with a zest for the theater and for outings. If we needed insight about lodge programs, Midge was one of our "go-to" residents- she always had helpful suggestions and enjoyed being involved. My favorite project with her was our video tribute to our female veterans- I loved the stories she told about her time in the service. I feel privileged to have known her, and I'll always remember that twinkle in her eye whenever we had a conversation. Her personality and contributions will be missed at the Lodge, and I will certainly personally miss this spunky little lady-she holds a special place in my heart. My condolences to the family. I remember Tommy and Midge as one of the first couples we met when our family first moved to Mt. Plymouth. They were so sweet and would always invite me over for a visit. I remember with wonderful community pot luck get togethers we would have in the Park by their house. Tommy even recovered a couch for me and did a great job. They will be greatly missed.
Midge was a dear friend and we spent many wonderful hours together. She will be missed. Dottie Curry
