Marguerite Mills' Obituary
Marguerite ‘Marge’ Mills of Tavares, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the age of 95 years. She was born in Carrolton, Michigan and moved to Tavares in 1971. Marge was a member of the Union Congregational Church in Tavares. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Marge was a retired teacher. She loved to read and was a big proponent of computers, learning how to use them and teaching computers early on. She also loved to play cards, especially Pinochle and Bridge. Marge was also quite interested in photography.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wilson Mills on December 11, 2004 after 60 years of marriage, and her son, Michael Mills on March 22, 2018. Marge is remembered and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Sue Anne Mills of Davenport, Florida; son Wilson C. Mills of Tavares; daughter-in-law, Susan Diane Draves Mills (Michael’s wife) of Dewitt, Michigan; brother, Raymond Colvin Stillwagon of El Jobean, Florida; sister, Barbara Marie Stillwagon Folts of Michigan; grandchildren, Shelby L. Mills (Ali Ahmad) and Michael Scott Mills and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial ceremony will be held at the Union Congregational Church soon. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
