Margaret Alice Whyte's Obituary
Margaret A. Whyte 98, of Tavares, passed away on February 7, 2015.
Margaret was born on February 1, 1917 in Sheffield Lake, Ohio to
Margaret and James Kilpatrick. She had two brothers, Robert and Joseph
Kilpatrick. She wed William Whyte, of Lorain Ohio, on July 19, 1940,
where they raised their two children, William (Bill) and Noel.
She moved to Tavares in 2004 from Davie, Florida. Margaret was the
retired Co-Owner, Designer, and Office Administrator of Buckeye Sheet
Metal Co. in Lorain. She also enjoyed interior decoration, and was an
avid artist. Her works can be found in many homes. After retirement,
she put her crafting skills to work helping needy children as a member
of the Bear Club of Royal Harbor, Tavares, a support group for Boggy
Creek Camp.
She was pre-deceased by her son, William James, her husband William, and
her brother Robert.
She is survived by her brother Joseph of Issaquah, Washington, and her
daughter, Noel (Harold) Miner of Tavares. She is also survived by her
two grandchildren, William Scott (Carla) Whyte of San Jose, California
and Tracey Kennedy of Rapid City, South Dakota, and her three
great-grandchildren: William Aidan Whyte, Owen Kennedy and Rose Kennedy.
