M. Jayne DePoy's Obituary
M. Jayne DePoy, 86, of Tavares, FL, passed away on January 2, 2026. She was born on August 19, 1939, in Youngstown, OH, to her parents: Charles and Mary (Pero) Miles. Jayne worked as a banker in financial services. She taught line dancing for many years in her community, played several years of shuffleboard with her husband and loved to travel to Treasure Island.
She is survived by her loving husband: Carl DePoy; children: Jeffrey DePoy and Deborah (Timothy) O’Hara. Grandchildren: Jared O’Hara, JennaLyn O’Hara, Ryan DePoy and Erika DePoy; niece: Christi Hayes; nephew: Shawn Miles. She was preceded in death by her son: Clarence “Cookie” Combs and her siblings.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 2:00PM at Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home in Tavares, FL, with a gathering of friends and family from 1:00PM – 2:00PM. Online condolences can be left at https://www.steversonhamlinhilbish.com
