Lynne B. Lee's Obituary
Mrs. Lynne Bozeman Lee, 66, of Lake Frances Estates in Tavares, Florida went home to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 15, 2012 surrounded by her family. She died after complications of heart surgery and other physical conditions. She was born 2 ½ months early with her twin sister, Sherry in Bremerhaven, Germany, the daughter of Frances and A.N. “Boze” Bozeman. Their birth created quite a stir. They were the first twin Americans born after World War II, with Lynne arriving as they were debarking, and Sherry, in the ambulance. What a delight to the new mom and dad stationed in Germany. Dad was dumbfounded and speechless that the two tiny babies were stable and mom was well. Lynne spent many years working as a Registered Nurse in the med-surg and psychiatric fields. She was a fervent advocate for “body, mind and soul” – total patient care. She married Normand R. Lee in 1966, spending the majority of her married life in Greenville, SC, where she and her husband were active members of Overbrook Baptist Church. They moved to Tavares in 2003 to be near their daughter, Noelle and family. They made annual road trips to Greenville to celebrate twin birthdays, visit home, church and old friends. She and Normand made many new friends in the Lake Frances Estates Community. Lynne is remembered and will be dearly missed by her cherished and beloved husband of 46 years, Normand Lee; daughter, Noelle Lee Bixler (Rick); grandchildren Jordan and Gavin Bixler; and great grandson, Jaleel “JJ” Jackson, all of Sorrento, Florida; her twin sister, Sherry Bozeman Wells of Greenville, SC; and her brother, Thomas F. Bozeman of Columbia, South Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kelly James Lee; step-mother, Helen T. “Kitten” Bozeman; maternal grandparents, W.E. “Pappy” and Myrtle “Gramyrt” Northern and paternal grandparents, A.N. and Mary Josephine “Mama Bo” Bozeman. Lynne will be thoroughly missed for her sense of humor, her easy smile, her wonderful hugs, her generosity, her love for taking pictures and her deep, genuine empathy for the downtrodden. She will be inurned at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. A joyful Celebration of Life Remembrance will be held at Overbrook Baptist Church in Greenville, SC at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a charity of your choice or to the American Heart Association.
