Louis K. Despot's Obituary
Louis K. Despot of Eustis, passed away on Friday, September 4th, 2009 at the age of 84 years. He was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on December 27th, 1924. Louis and his wife Laurie moved to Middleburg, Florida from Michigan in 1996. They relocated to Eustis a few years later. Louis is a member of the First Baptist Church of Tavares, where he was a former choir member. He retired, after 20 years of service, from Williams International, the world leader in the development and manufacture of small gas turbine engine technology, working in the cruise missile engine division and previously worked for Unisys (formerly Borroughs) for 20 years. Louis is remembered by his wife, Laurie, of 28 years; his son and daughter in law, Bill and Pat Despot of Brighton, Michigan; step-son and his wife, Robert and Shary Weir of Howell, Michigan and their two children, Jamie Weir and Timothy Weir. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8th from 10 - 11am at the First Baptist Church of Tavares with a funeral ceremony starting at 11 am.
