Louie Wilford Griner's Obituary
Louie Griner, age 94, passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord on June 18, 2026. Born in Bainbridge, Georgia on April 18, 1932 is the son of George and Ruby Earnest Griner.
Louie was the owner of Duel Earnest Rose Nursery in Loxahatchee, Florida, where he dedicated many years to serving his community through his business. He took pride in his work and was respected by all who knew him for his strong work ethic and kind spirit.
A devoted Christian, Louie was an active and faithful member of Leesburg Missionary Baptist Church. His love for the Lord was evident in the way he lived and in the relationships he built throughout his life.
Louie is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rebecca (Becky) Small Griner; his children Cindy Murphy (Carl), Mindy Brooks (Calvin), Mark Powell. Known as “Poppy” to his grandchildren. Matthew, Ryan (Annie), David (Megan), Jacob (Brooke), Peyton (Jake), Kyler (Gracie), Gavin. Great grandchildren Jack and Callie. Sister Bernett Matthews, Bainbridge, Georgia. Predeceased by parents, sisters Sylvia Thornton, Betty Moat, Delilah Gammage, brother Gerald Griner.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to go to First Missionary Baptist Church.
