Condolences to Carolyn and Family. I met Lothar in 1996 and we've been very good friends for the past 18 years. He was a great guy and truly a class act. I can't imagine anyone having a bad word to say about Lothar. There is going to be a huge void without having him around. He will be sorely missed. RIP LT

I had the pleasure of playing golf with Lothar many times. He was a really good person.
My wife and I were invited to his 70th birthday party, we met his wonderful family that day. He was so very happy.
I last saw him at Costco and he just did not seem right. He insisted that he was doing ok and said he was going to rejoin us at WekivaGC very soon.

Lothar Thomas was a wonderful man and a great colleague at The Wall Street Journal.
