Lois Jean Hylen (D'Agostino)'s Obituary
Lois Jean Hylen (D'Agostino), 79 of Tavares, FL, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025. She was born on November 26, 1946, in Brockton, MA, to her parents: Charles and Alice (Herrick) D’Agostino. Lois had been a homemaker for many years but after moving to Florida, she worked part time as a bakery associate for Publix. She made many friends there with the customers as well as her coworkers. Lois enjoyed many activities throughout her life. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching game shows, with her favorites being Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right. She traveled with her husband Peter, and her favorite trip was when they went to Hawaii. Lois also enjoyed and participated as crew with her husband Peter racing daysailers.
She is survived by her loving husband: Peter Hylen, Jr.; her children: Shawn and his wife Barbara George of TX, Kerrie George Schlager of Mansfield, MA and Lisa Messier Berryman of Ocala, FL. Seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren with one on the way. Her siblings include Shirley Craig of Brockton, MA, Robert D’Agostino of East Bridgewater, MA and Jane D’Agostino of Whitman, MA. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Dennise J. Messier and her siblings: Janet Herrick, Brad Herrick, Gerald D’Agostino and William D’Agostino
