Linda Lou Hinkle 71, of Leesburg, passed away on March 9, 2013. She was born in Lakeview, Michigan and moved to Leesburg last year from Alexander, Arkansas. She was Methodist and enjoyed her membership in the Daughters of the Nile Read Obituary
I was shocked to read in the Pioneer about Linda. I want to say, she played an important part of my life and I learned so much from her. She will now be a special part of wonderful memories. My prayers are for Russell, Rusty, Lori , and their families. Aleta Wensloff

So sorry to hear for Linda's passing. I remember her from going to school at Stanwood Elementary many years ago. Also her Mother and my Mother (Leona Ackerman) were very good friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with the familly.

My Aunt Linda....my role model & hero....I will NEVER forget her, and will always use her as an example to my children of how to remain optimistic in the face of personal troubles. Whenever we talked about it, she would say "I'm so happy, happy, happy". She never liked to say "good bye", instead, "see ya later" was what she preferred. Aunt Linda NEVER missed an occasion to send a card, usually with some $$ in it, and my kids looked forward to & enjoyed each card they got at halloween, Christmas, Valentines, Easter, etc. She also, despite her eyesight, would write a quick note asking how we were doing, and what the kids were up to, etc. We will miss this connection to her very much. To my dear Aunt Linda, "See ya later"!!

Even though Mary and I didn't know Linda that well, we shared e-mail with Russ quite a lot. We know that Linda will be missed and we pray for the family. We can tell from the letters we get from Russ that the family was a close family and that is important these days.
