Lecil Johnson's Obituary
Lecil Johnson of Astatula, FL went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the age of 73 years. He was born in Jasper, Alabama to Manuel and Pernie Johnson. Lecil was a roofing contractor and owner of Johnson and Sons roofing for 36 years. Lecil had many hobbies. He loved gardening, handyman work and fishing. Lecil was a big fan of Alabama Crimson Tide Football, bacon and potato salad, pranks, going to the dog track, horse races and gambling. Of all the things he loved, he loved his family most.
Lecil is remembered and will be dearly missed by his loving family; His wife of 54 years, Alma Johnson of Astatula, FL; Son: Jeffery Johnson, of Aststula, FL; Daughter: Cindy (Roger) Wilson of Aststula, FL; Brother: Fred (Mary) Johnson, of MO; Grandchildren: Craig, Bradlee, and Brittany; Many Nieces and Nephews and Several friends and Co-workers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lake County Humane Society at Address: 16435 McKinley Road, Umatilla, FL 32784. Family and friends are invited to gather for viewing on Thursday, January 15 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The funeral ceremony will start at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
