Lawrence Dale Bolton's Obituary
Lawrence Dale Bolton, age 86, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015 in Tavares, FL with his loving wife by his side. Lawrence was born in Vales Mill, Ohio on April 07, 1929 to his parents Clarence and Marie Bolton. Lawrence was a proud Veteran of The United States Air Force. He enlisted in the United States Air Force on October 31, 1950 and was honorably discharged on October 31, 1954. Lawrence was then a Fire Fighter for Port Clinton, Ohio and retired as a lieutenant after fifteen years. He also worked for Ford Motor Company in Sandusky, OH for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, taking camping trips to Pokagon Park, IN, and most of all spending time with his family. He will be remembered by those closest to him for his funny and outgoing personality, his kind heart and for the happiness he received from the simple pleasures of life, which he never took for granted. Lawrence was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by many. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years: Nancy Bolton of Tavares, FL; sons: William (Sherry) Bolton of Sandusky, OH, Mark (Kay) Bolton of Tavares, FL and Jeffery Bolton of Umatilla, FL; daughters: Marilyn Smith of Tavares, FL, Lisa (Ray) Cousino of Mt. Dora, FL, Laurie (Scott) Payne of Leesburg, FL, and Jennifer (Dean) Luginbuhl of Eustis, FL; sister: Mary (Delno) McClure of McArthur, OH; sister in-law: Gwen Bolton of Logan, OH / Tavares, FL; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Thursday November 19, 2015 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held the following day on Friday November 20, 2015 at 11:00AM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Cardwell officiating. Friday’s service will conclude at the gravesite at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice by mail to 2445 Lane Park Road Tavares, FL 32778, online at donate.cshospice.org or by phone at (352)742-6819. Services have been entrusted to Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home Funerals and Cremations. On line condolences may be shared on the Tribute Wall.
