Lawna Scott Harrison's Obituary
Lawna Scott Harrison, 86, Tavares, Fl. went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2011 under the care of her loving family and staff of Cornerstone Hospice. Mrs. Harrison was born April 22, 1925 in Highland Park, Michigan to her parents Wallace and Florence Dyer. She was a Homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tavares, Florida. She and her husband moved to Tavares 30 years ago from Royal Oak, Michigan. She was devoted to her church and to the service of the Lord in “Soul Winning”. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Fred Allen Harrison of Tavares, Fl.; three sons: Bruce Allen Harrison (Kim) of Allen Park, Mi., Brian Fred Harrison (Diana) of Caldonia, Mi. and Russel Scott Harrison of Flushing, Mi.; 10 Grandchildren; 19 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church of Tavares, Fl. with a visitation from 9:00am till the hour of service at the church. A visitation was also held on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Eustis Chapel.
