Larry Roger Baker's Obituary
Mr. Larry Roger Baker of Eustis, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the age of 63 years. He was born in Seattle, Washington to Marvin and Mildred Baker, who preceded him in death. Larry served his country in the US Army in Vietnam. He worked as Quality Control Director at Guardian Fall Protection in Kent, WA. With a passion for baseball, Larry umpired for the little league and pony league in Washington. He also coached youth baseball and soccer. He moved to Eustis in July 2012 from Auburn, WA. He attended First Assembly in Haines Creek, Leesburg, FL. Larry is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 3 years, Shannon; daughters, Heather Michelle Melton-Baker of Eustis, FL and Stephanie Ann Baker of Oakville, WA; son, Bret Baker of Auburn, WA; grandson, Jeffery Nakano of Tenino, WA; great grandson, Brody Evan Baker of WA; brothers, Steve (Kaki) Baker of Gardnerville, NV and Tracy (Winnie) Baker of San Leandro, CA; and sister, Tami (John) Popke of Sonora, CA. A memorial ceremony was held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 1:00 pm.
