Larry Leroy Moore Sr.'s Obituary
Larry Leroy Moore Sr., of Umatilla, Florida, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. He was born on April 11, 1941, in Van Buren, Indiana, the son of John L. Moore and Lucy A. Slagle. He moved to Lake County, FL in 1980 and made his home there for more than 40 years.
Larry worked as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Eustis until his retirement in 2007. He was a devoted father to four sons and one daughter: Larry Leroy Moore Jr., Cecil Henry Moore, Randy Dewayne Moore, Tommy Lee Moore, and Melinda Lou Moore. He was also a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Larry is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Agnes Louise Jones Moore; his brother, Dallas “Fritz” Moore; his son, Randy Moore; his granddaughter, Heather Moore; and his grandson, David Wilkinson.
