Larry Duane Kindred's Obituary
Larry Duane Kindred, age 74, of Leesburg passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012. He was born November 1, 1937 in Atlanta, Illinois. He was a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his brothers, Dale Kindred of Orlando, FL and Gary Kindred of Atlanta, IL; sisters, Gwen Long of Lincoln, IL and Mary Swearingen of Lincoln, IL; son, Larry Wayne O’Hara; daughter, Michele Hildebrand; 4 grandchildren; close friend, Reefie Kindred of Leesburg, FL; and was Paw Paw to the Ratliff and Sumner families. The family received friends on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, from 11:00AM until 12:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service followed at 12:00PM in the chapel. Interment took place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at 2:00PM. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E.
