Larry D Bowles' Obituary
Larry Douglas Bowles, 52, died peacefully at his home in Tavares on April 5th with his wife Robin and family members at his bedside. Larry was born on Feb. 16th, 1957, in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy Bowles and Lucy Bowles Collett also of Portsmouth, Ohio. Larry is survived by his loving wife Robin, daughter Brandy Reale (Natale) and grandson Alex Reale of Ft. Myers, Fla.; daughter Lisa Bowles of Ft. Myers, Fla.; daughters Cierra Chappell and Brooke Chappell of Tavares, Fla.; sister Judy Ennis (Charlie) of Portsmouth, Ohio; sister-in-law Luanne Thomley (Donnie) of Umatilla, Fla.; brother-in-law Brian Houben (Katherine) of Mt. Dora, Fla. and brother-in-law Michael Houben of California; Father-in-Law Gene Houben, Mother-in-Law Mary Houben of Umatilla, Fla. Larry was a senior technician with Embarq Telephone Co for the last 25 years and was highly respected by his employers and loved by his friends and co-workers for his kindness, generosity and willingness to help friends and strangers. He was devoted to his family and his home, a cheerful environment where everyone feels welcome. In keeping with Larry's spirit of love and giving, instead of flowers, he would have requested that you buy someone you love a flower, fill out an organ donor card or just do a good deed. Memorial services will be held at Lake Eustis Christian Church, 315 East Orange Ave. in Eustis on Tuesday, April 14th at 4:00 PM with Pastor Bob Bender officiating.
