Krista Elizabeth Janego's Obituary
Krista Elizabeth Janego of Sorrento, Florida passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022. She was 55. She was born in Toronto, Canada. Krista moved to Orange County Florida in 1974 and lived in Apopka and then moved to Lake County in 1995 to start a family. She and her husband owned Janego Construction, Inc. where she served as Co-Owner/ Office Manager.
Krista was a kindhearted, selfless person who always put others first. She was the best mother to her children and their friends. She enjoyed shopping and loved putting on makeup but mainly loved her family and spending her time with them and her cats and dogs. Krista was funny, great listener, huge giver, beautiful in so many ways and had a heart bigger than any room she was in. She was a loving and strong woman that will be dearly missed.
Krista is survived by her husband of 28 years, Joe; son, Tyler Poul Janego of Sorrento; daughter, Jamie Noel Janego of Sorrento; mother, Sharon Jensen of Apopka; father, Mario Kopczyk of Toronto; brother, Poul (Gina) Jensen of Apopka; sister, Laura (Vance) Terry of Clover, South Carolina; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Adrian) Janego of Grand Island and Jimmy Janego of Longwood.
Mass is scheduled for Friday, November 18, 2022 at 9:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
