June Pauline Walzak's Obituary
June Walzak, 86, of Tavares, passed away on March 28, 2011. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 14, 1924 and moved to Tavares in 1985 from Bedford, OH. She was a former Cleveland Dental Assistant and she was a member of the Cleveland Dental Assistants Society, the Ohio Dental Assistants Association and the American Dental Assistants Association. She was a past President of NAMI of Lake/Sumter for three years. She was a retired secretary and bookkeeper for an Internal Medical Office. She was a Baptist. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Henry Walzak of Tavares; daughter, Trudy Walzak of Tavares; grandson, Pastor Michael Walzak and his wife Noelle of Port Orange, FL; great-grandson, Christian Walzak; great-granddaughter, Grace Walzak both of Port Orange, FL; Sisters, Marjorie Lecate Gionfredo of Glen Willow, OH, Delores (Sid) Via of Tallmadge, OH, Dorothy (Norman) Whipple of Maple Heights, OH; sister-in-law, Frances Joherl of Highland Heights, OH. The family is also grateful for the loving support that was given to June by Peg Coleman, Gene and Barbara Rank, Don and Irene Huston, Grace Bell, Chaplain Bob Whitworth, Rev. Cathy Gates, also the Ministers of First Baptist Church of Leesburg and Mary Lange, whom June considered her second daughter. She was preceded in death by her son, Wade Walzak and her brother, William Joherl. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home with Chaplain Bob Whitworth officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial gifts to be made to: Port Orange Church of the Nazarene, 840 Taylor Road, Port Orange, FL 32127. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 East Burleigh Boulevard, Tavares, FL 32778.
