Julia "Bunny" Keeler's Obituary
Beloved mother, Julia "Bunny" Keeler, 62, of Leesburg, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2011 in the comfort of her home, as a result of respiratory complications due to lung cancer with her oldest daughter “Beannie” at her bedside. Bunny was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on April 9, 1948. She married the love of her life, Kenneth Keeler in Danbury, Connecticut in 1967. They relocated to Wildwood, Florida in 1979. She worked in Leesburg, Florida for Zayres Department Store for 12 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Kenneth H. Keeler on June 12, 1993 and younger sister, Frances "Pammy" Anderson on August 24, 1994. She is survived by her mother, Julie Randall of The Villages; son, Buck Randall of Gainesville; daughter, Eileen Keeler-Cassidy and son-in-law, Russell Cassidy of Leesburg, daughter Christine Engel of Lady Lake; sisters: Barbara Canning of Inverness, Deborah Hull of The Villages; brothers: James O'Donnell and John O’Donnell, both of Connecticut; half-brothers, Jeremiah Randall III, Hank Randall, and Kevin Randall (all of Connecticut); six grandchildren, Billy, Jessica, Danielle, Catera, Stephanie, and Tiffani--who was born on her husband’s birthday 2 months after his passing; great-grandson Donovan, eight nieces, eight nephews, and 15 year old feline companion, Sasafras. A private service will be held at a later date at the Adamsville Cemetery and a Celebration of her Life will be announced on Facebook (Kenny & Bunny Keeler). The family would like to thank the Blue Team of Cornerstone Hospice, and their “angel” Helene (R.N.) for the loving care and support of Bunny in her final hours.
